Well here is an awesome way to start off the week. I will be on the show Community this Thursday. I play the role of a rapper. Make sure you check it out. If you have not seen the show, here are a few clips from the show:

We got a pretty great response from folks regarding the Bang Bang Bang song on the show Community. Unfortunately, the song is not available and we can’t release it just yet. In the meantime, we (@yungpreezee, @therealasialee and @kustoo) came up with the idea of writing, recording, and shooting a video in one day and give it away for free. As a result, you have what we are calling the Bang (3) Remix……Enjoy.

Another hilarious spot on the tv show Community.
They used a song I wrote called Bang Bang Bang for the end credits! It was produced by Yung Preezee.
Make sure you watch tonight at 9:30 p.m.

Here is a short clip of a song I had on the most recent episode of the show Community. It is really brief, but it is funny. Enjoy!

Here is an old song I wrote a few years back. I recorded it under my alter ego Lenny Katfish. It is just a demo, but I listened to it again today and thought I would share.
If you feel so inclined, you can D/L it here

A few weeks ago, I saw a trailer for the movie District 9. I LOVED IT. The imagery, the story line, all of it. So much so, I was inspired to write a song about it. I wrote the song and put it to some footage I found on the internet from the movie and put the “Freedom” trailer on Youtube and Facebook. It apparently struck a nerve with some folks and people have emailed me and left comments asking for more information about the song and where they could get it. I didn’t want to charge for it, so I spoke to the producer (Big Zik @bigzik) and he agreed to allow me to give it away on my site for free. So with that said, here is the trailer and a link to download the song. Enjoy. Feel free to leave feedback.

I’m a warrior it’s in my veins
That’s one part of me that they can not change/
No matter how much they try to wash my brain
You can look in my eyes and you see that pain/
And I won’t let go of it, I’m full of it
Cause I got a plan and I know what to do with it/
Its restore those days of glory
and resurrect those that came before me/
And fought till the end, but didn’t win
But where yours ends that where mine begins/
Your my light when it gets dark
And you’re my soul when I have no heart/
I’m like Malcolm and Martin mixed with a spartan
A little bit of Che and a military marksman/
You’re the reason that I dream
And when I’m at war, you’re why I scream/ (for)
Freedom
We fighting for our
Freedom
Can’t live like this no more
They make us got to war
We fighting for our
Freedom
Can’t live without my
Freedom
Can’t live like this no more
You make us go to war
We fighting for our
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
F to the R to the E and E
Just a little bit is what we want for we/
Away from all your lies and your tyranny
All your nonsense and your blasphemy/
But your telling me that this the way it has to be
But I’ve seen the light, so how can that be/
I’ve seen much more right at the horizon
So I got my army and I mobilized them/
A journey into war is where we will go
And if it takes our life, deep inside we know/
That the truth is the truth and we’d rather die
Then just to sit back and to compromise/ (We want)
Freedom
We fighting for our
Freedom
Can’t live like this no more
They make us got to war
We fighting for our
Freedom
Can’t live without my
Freedom
Can’t live like this no more
You make us go to war
We fighting for our
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom
Freedom

Here is a song I wrote with the Jonas Brothers in mind. I never got a chance to get it to their folks, but I still really like the song. I still might use it to try and get on a TV show or in a film.
