I am Jacques Slade and these are your top stories of the day from Jordan, NIKE SB, and adidas Originals this is Today in Sneaks

Lets start with Nike SB. Today Complex go the scoop on the Nike SB Dunk Salt Stains from the skater that inspired the silhouette, Anthony Hart. He is working with Nike on the design side and wanted his first shoe to be based on skaters that ride in colder climates and something only they know about, salt stains. the distressed upper is unique to each shoe and the liner is the same liner used on the Chicago Air Jordan X. Designed to be actually skated in and the upper wears away as you rock them. Look for the Nike SB Dunk “Salt Stains” right now at local skate shops.

adidas Basketball is continuing their Nightmare Before Christmas theme for 2014 with the D Rose 5 Boost, the Crazylight 2 Boost, The Crazy 2, and the J Wall as part of the Bad Dreams collection for games on Christmas day. The shoes all go on sale on December 12th at their regular prices. And keeping with adidas, adidas Originals announced the Commuter Pack with the ZX Flux today. The 3 sneakers are inspired by the originals ZX Flux 700, 800, and 9000, and will be released on December 6th. These are limited with only 333 of each color being made.

On the Jordan side of things, the Jordan Illusion has been getting some buzz. Most of that is due to its resemblance to the side panels on the Jordan Shine, but the illusion is only priced at $105 instead of $400. And ending on a Jordan note, what I believe to be the last Air Jordan 1 of the year was revealed in a black/gum colorway. The upper is all black with gum accents and the outsole is gum as well. It looks like it is all leather with a cracked sort of texture on the overlays. Those drop Saturday for $140.
