Ronnie Fieg x New Balance “Central Park” and “Brooklyn Bridge”

Ronnie Fieg continues his string of stellar collaborations with two new looks for New Balance. Formally know as Ronnie Fieg x New Balance “Central Park” and “Brooklyn Bridge” collection, the New Balance 530 and New Balance 850 take their inspirations from the place Ronnie calls home, New York City. Inspired by the locations of the two KITH stores in New York, the choices for the shoes and the locations are driven as much by the city as they are by Ronnie and his team’s love for the silhouettes.

The New Balance 530 is adheres to the colors of fall, an appropriate homage to one of the world’s most famous parks. Material choices further highlights the colors of autumn with rich oily pigskin suede, microperforated nubuck, tonal leather, and a rubberized label that represents the New York Parks & Recreation. The New Balance 850 walks a similar line when it comes to color with gradient shades of blue that reflect the sky and the color of the bridge. Material choices for the 850 mirror the 530, but differ when it comes to the graphic on the leather tongue were inspired by the flag perched at the top of the bridge.

Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 530 “Central Park” will retail for $185, and the New Balance 850 “Brooklyn Bridge” will retail for $175 when they release on Black Friday at both KITH locations and KITH online.
