iPhone 6 and 6 Plus: Everything You Need To Know

At a special announcement today in Cupertino, CA Apple announced the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Both phone are a big departure for the brand and expand the size of the phone to 4.7 and 5.5 inches, respectively. In addition to the larger screens, the new phones add updated A8 processors, better M8 coprocessors, and a better camera. In addition to those updates, Apple include bigger screens and finally pushed the limits of the Retina screen to the HD level with the iPhone 6 Plus. Design wise, Apple updated the look of the phone and put them more inline with the latest batch of iPads. The change gives the model a certain distinction that separates them from the past and looks to provide a bridge to the future of Apple phone design in the bigger phone world.

In addition to the iPhones, Apple also introduced the Apple Watch. Not set to release until 2015, the watch is designed by Jony Ive and looks as expected from the celebrated designer. Offered in three different variations, the Apple Watch is tailored to fit the lifestyle of those that are active and provides a boatload of options to track your movement during the day and to keep you active when you are not moving. Like other “smart” watches that have been released lately, the model also allows you to send and receive information like emails and text as well as a few other options that were not advertised in the presentation like Walkie Talkie and screen sharing.
